question about light sensitivity

Oh, a quick question:

Does anyone else get light sensitive when either TTOM or getting and being sick (cold, flu)? I wear shades and keep the lights off during these times. I prefer darkness over brightness normally though too.

That's an interesting question. I am always light sensitive and hate turning on lamps, etc. in the evening. During TTOM, my hearing is much sharper like when my children and DH are speaking to me, it sounds like they are shouting at me, etc. and I am easily provoked since I don't like a loud household anyways. LOL! Scraping or taping sounds like pounding too.
My neighbor says her sense of smell is so much stronger during her TTOM.

Toastymosty:

We are very similar. My husband (who is a lot older-25 years) always is wanting to turn on ths lights, especially at work (we work together), even at my end of the lab. He says I must have been born with more rods than cones in my eyes than most people (like an elephant). My mom and her father have the same sensitivity to light as I do, but I am by far more sensitive. My hearing is also sharper especially during TTOM. I wear earplugs a lot during TTOM. I always wear them when I go out to a movie. I dont know how everybody else can handle the noise.

By the way, I have always wanted to tell you, you look great!

Suzanne- well you just reminded me about the earplugs...I do need to get some. I will have to put it on my list.
Another thing that bothers me is when DH turns on those "talking heads", not the calming voices from the Weather Channel, but any sports news channel where they go back and forth and just argue very loudly...AGHHH!!! Why can't SOME men speak softly, instead of shout???
I also hate driving at night when people forget to turn their high beams off...instant migraine from that.

BTW, thanks for the compliment, you will have to post your picture too.;-)
