Question about hands, calluses, & blisters

Could I be getting callused blisters from my weight lifting gloves? I am starting to notice on the outsides of my index finger little callused blisters all on my fingers. Is this from weight lifting with gloves on, and maybe the rubbing that the gloves are doing against the weights? It is really annoying. :+ Has anybody else experienced this?:(

You could be. Especially when your hands get sweaty, it probably causes even more friction against the gloves.

Personally I'm a no-glove lifter. I embrace my callouses. :)

me too! I can't bear wearing gloves to lift weights. I don't get bisters ever, just hard ridges from lifting those 20's!!!

Annette: prhaps try lifting without gloves for a little while, to let the blisters heal and see if that was what was causing them? But I expect so: friction against sweaty skin? Blisters!!!
