Question about Check-in and Challenge area and "OAL"

I've been roaming around over there and it looks like fun but I don't know what the different groups are. Is there a place where you can find out which check-in group you might fit with? Some are self-explanatory but I'm curious.

Also, on this thread is the massively entertaining thread that goes every day with the snippet of song lyrics and the -->. Can anyone play there?

As far as an explanation for Check-ins, I don't think there is...but, if you just take a peek at them, you will probably find something that suits YOU! Also, I give you permsiion to join the <--- thread! :7 I used to respond to it but now that my reading and posting time is limited I just pop in once in a blue moon and they Welcome me with open arms. Sooo, go for it!

The OAL thread is for anybody! Come on in, everybody is welcome. As for the check in groups, I am not the best person to ask since I don't "belong" or post in one of the check-in groups.
