Question about back muscles,,,

Hi Cathe!
I had a question for you regarding overdeveloping lower back muscles, or maybe a better question would be can you develop them by using poor form while doing exercises? On both sides of my lumbar spine there seems to be muscle. In other words, my back doesn't really concave in at all. Hope this makes sense!:D Thanks!!!

Hi,
I'd love an answer to this question too! I have noticed the same thing and I was contemplating posting this same question. I'm wondering if it's from doing deadlifts incorrectly. I really try to concentrate when doing them but I do tend to feel it in my lower back. It's actually making my clothes fit poorly :(
 
Hi Sherry, I want to know the answer to this question also. I'm developing nice definition in my shoulders, delts tris and bis and wondered about my back area. Time will tell.

BTW Sherry, your date with your granddaughter Isobel is quickly approaching. I can imagine how excited you are about seeing her.
My daughter Jocelyn is expecting also - she's about 5 weeks or so, but we're sort of holding our breath with this pregnancy since she's already had two miscarriages. Her son Brandon (he's four) doesn't want another baby - he claims that the baby will throw up on him and worse yet - poop on him too! Out of the mouth of babes... He's my heart and joy!!!
