I would love to see a cardio workout using the pyramid concept. I used to fitness swim, and frequently did pyramid workouts. I loved them. In swimming, this meant a workout something like this:
warm up (400m)
50 metres (rest),
100 metres (rest),
150 metres (rest),
200 metres (rest),
150 metres (rest),
100 metres (rest),
50 metres (rest).
cool down (200m, relaxed swim with swimming drills)
By the time you get down to the last 50 metres, you're zooming down the lane, and it feels terrific.
I've noticed that the "blast" at the end of MIC is a down pyramid. I really love that blast, and would love to see a full cardio workout that used this concept.
