Happy weekend Ladies!

No workout for me today...although I should do some cardio with all the Birthday cake I'll be eating!;)My oldest baked, from scratch, a coca-cola cake with the coca-cola frosting...mmmmmmm!
Hubby and I are going to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, I am so looking forward to a nice pile of hash brown casserole:p

Hello.

Today was busy runnning errands and shopping. I ate lunch with my mom at my favorite organic restaurant today. I had shrimp crepes with vegetables and salad and bananas foster--YUM!! It was good to spend some time with my mom. I won't be able to go to Thanksgiving with my family this year b/c I will be going with DH. I am a little sad about this. I have a very big family (on my mom's side) and it is always so much fun. Oh well, I guess there is always next year.
Today I tried KCM Cardio Sculpt. It was pretty good. I also tried out Amy's new Hi/Lo. It was a lot of fun! I still have several new workouts I need to try out.

PYGFO Sisters:

I had a fun Friday workout. I enjoyed the Kickbox cardio premix. I believe this is the “best of” Cathe kickboxing. I see elements of her other kickboxing workouts in this one. Kickbox is also the first kickboxing workout that gives me a great workout without weighted gloves. I have not even attempted adding weighted gloves to this one. After I complete Cathe’s November rotation, I may combine the cardio premix with the Kick, Punch, & Crunch cardio conditioning premix for a longer cardio option.

I faithfully finished the second week of Cathe’s November rotation this morning with Boot Camp. I have decided that I need a less intense Saturday morning workout. I am tired by the end of the week and have cleaning and errands to do too, so I do not want a workout that wipes me out. Not to mention, I usually stay up late every Friday night. I was dragging my wagon this morning. I gave my all to the cardio and had to push myself to finish the weight work. It was a struggle this morning. I am amazed when I read reviews that this series is too intermediate for some people. The cardio is not as intense as IMAX3, but the weight work is heavy for me! These were my workouts this week:

11-11-07 a.m. 4-Day Split Higher Intensity Step
11-12-07 rest
11-13-07 a.m. 4-Day Split Kickbox
11-14-07 a.m. Stretch Max
11-15-07 a.m. 4-Day Split Lower Intensity Step
11-16-07 a.m. 4-Day Split Kickbox (cardio premix)
11-17-07 a.m. 4-Day Split Boot Camp

I shared the New York Times article with my hairstylist this morning. She got a kick out of it. I took a long nap after my hair appointment and cleaned for an hour. I did my holiday grocery shopping tonight. I need to plan menus for the other days and do my regular grocery shopping tomorrow. Thankfully, tomorrow is a rest day.

Michelle, I hope you had a blessed birthday and enjoyed your Cracker Barrel breakfast. Yummy!

Vicki, I was thinking about Laura from Africa when I wrote about the New York Times picture. Yes, I did pick up a copy of the paper from a local bookstore. Thank you for thinking about me.

Morning Ladies!

I had a wonderful day yesterday! Thank you all for the nice Birthday wishes.:*:* The cake reminded me of a Texas sheet cake, except a little more moist. I guess that is what the coke does to it. So Robin I believe pepsi would work also.

Has anyone who preordered Tracey's new workouts received theirs yet? Cause I haven't:(

Today I will be doing BC/BT+KB core.

Happy day-after-your-birthday, Michelle. I ordered the step workout, but what came in the mail yesterday was the strength training DVD. I was so disappointed. I emailed Tracey, but don't expect to hear anything till tomorrow. Maybe they'll tell me to keep the one I have for my trouble and they will send me the one I ordered. Well, a girl can dream, can't she?

Heather, I'm with you on the BootCamp workout. It sure does wipe you out. I prefer to do it on a weekend though, even if I have a list of chores to complete. It's even harder doing it in the late afternoon, after a day of work.

We had a lovely church service this morning. The pastor gave a very brief message, then invited people to stand and share things they were thankful for. Some of the testimonies were very moving. I got home and just finished Tracey's Step Sweatfest. Tonight is pizza night, so I have to go rummage through the frig for some healthier leftovers.
