PVL Whey Gourmet flavors -- Tess, Karin, anybody!

I like the vanilla ice cream flavor also, mixed with fruit. I have mint chocolate chip and I like it for something different occasionally but the PB Chocolate is my favorite!!!

Thanks Tess! I usually keep vanilla Isopure on hand (and I love that), but I'm running low. The vanilla ice cream PVL flavor was actually the one that I was most seriously considering adding, but there were other flavors that looked so good too!

I like to have some vanilla protein powder around, generally, just for versatility. My sons both love it with peanut butter and bananas (they call it their "Elvis shake"). One of my fave things to do with vanilla is to make it up in the blender as-is, then add 1 1/2 tsp of sugar-free pistachio pudding mix and some ice cubes and re-blend. It turns the color of mint chocolate chip ice cream and is just RIDICULOUSLY good! :) I've also used butterscotch pudding mix -- yum-o too!

Kathy, that sounds very good. I am going to have to get some of that s/f pudding mix and try it. Lately I've been adding kefir to my protein shakes to make them a bit creamier and of course up the protein content. I bet that would be good with the pistachio concoction too.

Hi Kathy! You must also try the cookies & cream one. I've also tried the vanilla too which is great. Kathy

Oh these are my new faves, I sometimes like them even better than the Lean Dessert proteins.

I have the P&B as well as the Creamy Caramel Dip, both of which are really good. I am planning on trying the chocolate chip mint and one of the others after I run out of these.:9

Kathy, the PB chocolate and vanilla are my favorites. I also bought the Mint Chocolate and the Arctic Cappuccino. They are still sitting around my house. I use them every once in awhile, but for some reason I can't get into them. Also, a little background on me Mint Chocolate Chip is my fave ice cream and I love coffee, so I am not sure what the deal is with these flavors. I have found they sound better than they taste.

I was interested in one of their plain chocolate flavors (milk chocolate or dark chocolate mousse), but someone on another board suggested I use the vanilla powder with some dark chocolate cocoa powder. Just a thought!

You have inspired/enabled :)P) me to give this a try! I ordered the PB Chocolate. I've never used protein powders before and I hope I like it. I hope it doesn't have a nasty aftertaste. I generally try to avoid artificial sweeteners, but I'm hoping that if I use it in small quantities I won't notice that funky aftertaste. What else do you do with it besides add it to yogurt?
