I am running Race For The Cure this Saturday. I would love to put the names of your Moms, Sisters, Aunts, Friends and anyone else as well as my Mother on a sign. I will wear the sign on my back.

I want to run it fast as I can. I want to dedicate it to anyone you know whose life has been touched by Breast Cancer.

Thinking about my own Mother is what got me through the last mile of my 1/2 Marathon yesterday.

PM me the names, or post them here.

What a nice thought! Unfortunately,I lost my brother at age 45 to cancer. His name: Joey Hamilton. Thanks and Good Luck with your race!

A friend of mine lost her battle with breast cancer about 2 years ago. Her name was Marikah. Thank you so much for doing this--it's really a lovely thing to do and I'm moved by it.

If you're accepting donations I'd be happy to make one. It would be great if you could post a link for this.

That's an awesome idea!! My mother (Marsha Heckes) passed away from breast cancer in 1987 when I was 15 years old. I lost my father in 1977 when I was 5 years old to skin cancer. I still think about them both every day and miss them terribly.

I'm just down the road from you in Cheney, KS. I was wanting to race this Saturday in my mother's honor. My son is having his 2nd birthday party this Saturday.

It's an amazing thing you're doing. So many people have been helped and inspired by Komen's organization. Thank you so much for being a part of it.

Thank you. My friend Martha died a month ago. She'd survived breast cancer for 7 years when it reappeared in her bones.

Also, one of my best friends lost her mother to breast cancer. Her name was Grace.
