Oh man, am I really starting this thread? Is everyone on vacation?
All right, I've started the challenge. 3 times a week I'll do the drills. I can do 10 toe pushups with an angry face and am shooting for 72 by the end of August.
I see that there are 2 ways to condition yourself to do this:
1) Negative pushups - on toes, lower body to floor slowly (10 sec) and then switch to knees for going back. Do as many as you can...2 sets
2) 3 sets of 8 pushups using your step and gradually weaning yourself riser by riser
I never knew 10 seconds was sooooooo long. I have a feeling the "do as many as you can" thing is going to influence me to "do as many as I want," so I'm thinking to do the first way as sort of a primer, and then move on to the second way.
One thing - the arms...are they directly under the shoulder sockets or are they spread apart some?
