PushPull/SS versus Pure Strenght!!!

I am ridiculously addicted to Cathe - which one of these should I buy! I really can only purchase one more dvd at this time and I have CTX on the way.................

I am going to Cabo in November for a wedding - so for the next three months - I am picking up the intensity a ton!!!! I am going to try and decrease my body fat by 5%!! and really sculpt my muscles - now that I have a serious deadline - I know I can do it!

I have pretty much everything except the Hardcores bc that is going to be my Christmas gift to myself..........

Which one would you guys suggest?

I do have S&H, Pyramids, ME, PH/MIS/BM and if CTX ever comes.......
 
I really love the PS series, it has really incrased my strength plus any of the PS workouts, I can easily burn 200 calories or more. Which is another reason why I love it, it is very intensity packed, and it, really sets you up to be much stronger. But everyone will have slightly different results with any workout. So It really is up to you, on which one you want.

Get the PS or GS series rathe than PP/SS. You already have so much endurance work, and you have super heavy weights in S&H, what you lack is medium to heavy weights, which GS and PS can provide. Of the two, I prefer GS, although I know that others, like Pinky, swear by PS!

PP/SS have disappointed a lot of people when done "as is." They seemed more intermediate than advanced. Of course, the new use of the stability ball in SS is useful and SS can be fun......but considering your goals, PS and GS will help you reach them better and faster.

Clare brings up a good point. How do you feel about the stability ball?

I'm back to preferring the workouts that don't use the stability ball. I always worry that my form can't be that great if I'm trying to balance on that thing.

If you've had it with the stability ball, order PS. No stability ball. If on the other hand you really like doing strength work on a ball, get PP/SS. It's much more ball-oriented.
 
SOunds like pure strenght then!!! I never thought about that, but I don't have one with medium weights - that will be new for me......I am going to order on payday next monday!
 
Reba...I am also waiting with you on the CTX DVD's...:(...I also like PS alot. But I will say when I got the SS/PP DVD, you can make it a more intense workout buy using the premixes. You can do 2 or 3 sets of the exercises with the premixes and believe me when I did 3 sets of the PP leg exercises for Freestyle...http://bestsmileys.com/signs1/11.gif[/img] did I have some DOMS and you know I was using lighter weights than normal...I also love stability ball work....whatever you get will be a great choice...:)...Carole
