I did 19!!!!! I'm so psyched. I was having one last chat with my physical therapist and asked why pushups sometimes bother my lower back. Well, he gave me a 5 minute pushup lesson and suggested that I try to reach my goal by doing several small sets as opposed to all at once. Like do 5,5,5,5,and 5. Once that gets easy, move up to 8,8,8,8,8 etc. So I got home last night and decided to try it. Instead of my usual 8 or 9 regular push ups I did a set of 5, 4, 4, 3, 3. That's 19! I am really jazzed to work up to 40 now. :7
