Push-Up Challenge MONDAY!

Whew, this is getting so hard for me. Never-the-less, I keep "pushing" along...

Today I re-re-RE did week 5. I just can't seem to get beyond 33 Push-ups at a time. I figure 33 is no walk in the park so I will just keep revisiting the weeks til I get stronger.

Week 5 AGAIN for third time, Day 1, Column 1:

31-this was tough! I was breathing whenI got done! (30 was minimum)

How is everyone doing? Dani, WELCOME! I find the push-up handles to make it harder for me...at least last time I tried. Maybe I need to dust mine off and see if I feel diff now?

Jodi, thanks for the suggestion. I know 33 is better then nothing! Plus, I started out with ONLY 13! :)

Pinny~sounds like REPEAT WEEKS are in OUR roation! Ha! Keep at it!

Becky~great job on the running! We actually had snow this morn on the ground! Uuuugh! I am not a cold-weather runner! And, our treadmill is not working right now. OH BOY! Great job!

Using the handles IS harder, but it will help you do more of the "plain" ones. I also find that using the handles enhances upper body definition more than regular p/u's.
 
Hi everyone!! Today is an off day for me for pushups. I did week 6, day 1, column 1 yesterday, I made it, but WOOSH!!!! I'm at work now, so I don't have my numbers with me, but it felt like about a million. I did MM upper body yesterday so subbed in the challenge for the pushups. Tonight is BG, which is quickly becoming a favorite. Happy Monday to all!

Hi everyone! ;)

Well today was Week 4 Day 3 ....and even though it was still a struggle, I made it and it was easier than last week....so I will take the test in a few days and see how that goes..........

Debbie- I hear ya on the RE-RE-RE!! LOL.... the week 4 test will determine if I attempt to move on, but I have a feeling I'll be doing week 4 for the third time...:D No worries, though! Just the fact that we made it this far is a true accomplishment! Even if the six week program becomes the 6 month program, who cares?? Congrats on your 33!

So I figure next April when I finally complete week six of this, I will start again, but using the handles.....and then maybe i'll re-complete the program by July of 2015..LOL :eek:

I am going to test on Wednesday/Thursday and then restart next week on my toes and using handles. My wrists are quite sore right now and I know the handles help. Plus I like the idea of gaining better definition!

Everyone ~ you are doing so terrific!!!! :D I'm guessing the real go thru may turn into a 6 month program, but I'm still looking forward to it!

Yay Becky!! WTG everyone!

I wonder if I should get myself some handles. My wrists are definitely not happy with some of those longer sets.
