Hey everyone...where you be???

I just finished Week 5, (third time!) Coumn 1, Day 3:

Actually, I felt stronger today! Yeah! I seemed to have more energy and never took any breaks, even the last BIG set. I did slow down quite a bit for the last 5 or so but got 'em in! Here you go:

The next column looks scary! I am going to wait til Monday, give it a whirl and see how I do. Then, if I fail at it, I will just back-up again! I am going to try a re-test tomorrow or Sunday just to see how many I can do even though I am not to retest til AFTER week 6. How'd everyone do?

Reporting in for Tami since she can't get on the forums yet....

Today was PS back, bis' & abs. Also did my push ups . I moved back to day 2 of week 4 the first column. I did the first 4 sets with a slower count & that last set I had to move a bit faster to get them done. Plus I actually followed the timing. I was losing my confidence with those big numbers. Better than nothing I think. We'll see what next week brings.

I liked the PS series although I don't think todays wo was the best back & bicep wo she has. Tomorrow is 4DS bootcamp cardio only -LOVE that one! plus the dreaded 200 walking lunges. Think I'll take your advice Deb & go sans weights.

Been fighting a bit of the crud for a few days, but winning the war!
This week was my end of 1st round, testing tomorrow, and re-starting Monday.

I DID IT!!!

I did another final test today after completing week 6 day 3 on Wednesday.

Drumroll please....

105 pushups!!! I still can't believe it. I did take a few brief breathers/wrist stretches of less than 10 seconds each at 53, 63, 73, and 90. (I'm not sure I could ever do 100 without stretching my wrists in the middle.) Followed with RS.

I went back to my calendar to see how long the whole program took me. On September 5 I did my initial test. So about 2.5 months. Thanks to everyone here for such great encouragement and companionship. I don't think I would have stuck with it if I didn't have you ladies helping out!

So now I'm trying to decide what to do. In a way I've kind of had enough of pushups. But I don't want to lose the ability to do them like this. And I am also curious to try pushup handles and see how they affect my wrists and my pushups. So maybe I will try again with handles...we'll see!

Debbie, glad to hear you were in the groove today! Great work! Tami, hang in there. I think it's great to do what you can do...you'll get there! Becky, hope you're feeling all better soon! Good luck with your test, and with starting over....I may or may not be joining you!;)

Jodi! Oh my goodness...you inspire me! Even to think you did 53 with no breaks! ZOWIE!!! You must be so very excited. I am thinking of sticking with it til STS comes because I want to be able to keep up with Cathe during any push up sets she does. I find the push-up handles to make it hard for me but may try sticking them in here & there.

Congratulations....a job WELL DONE!!! You put your mind to it and DID IT!!!

Thanks Debbie! I do feel proud of myself. DH said he was worried I would beat him up, LOL!

You are amazing Jodi! That is unbelievable! :) Actually, after testing on my toes,I must say you are all amazing! I did improve, from 0 - 10, but that's a long way from 105! :eek: So, I'm a little scared because doing 10 puts me in the 2nd column and honestly I'm not sure, but I might have eeked out 11 if I hadn't known that would bump me up to column 3! Scary place that column! I did the 1st couple with the handle and WOW! They make an astonishing difference! So, now, I don't know if I should do Column 1 and use the handles or just try to get thru on my toes and save the handles for round 3!?!? :eek:
I'm hoping this round I will get some visible definition or lift. I know my strength improved last time so now I'm looking for vanity rewards!
