Push Pull and Supersets

I did the Push Pull workout for the first time. I really liked it. The modified superman exercise with the heels together, I really felt it. I have never done an exercise for my shins before that felt pretty good too, I felt a little burn. I never did these exercises with the Firm before.

Supersets went pretty good but the plie squats with holding the barbell at chest level. My knee was hurting a little bit the night before, it felt like my usual arthritis (I'm only 45 but was a real klutz when I was younger and had alot of knee injuries). Anyway the plie squats with the barbell in the front did not go well with the one knee. Lunges and regular squats had no effect on my knee. By the next day I felt fine and then the next day I did push pull and it didn't hurt at all. Should I try it again and watch my knee alignment or don't use any weight during this exercise. This was the first time I did this with a barbell usually its with dumbbells.

Hi Susan...

I love these two workouts. They are so efficient at giving an overall workout in a reasonable amount of time. They are hard, but I can finish them. Glad you like them too.
 
Susan,

If the regular squats with a barbell on your shoulders felt fine, perhaps you could try doing the plie squats that same way (bar on shoulders). I myself prefer to do them this way.
