I saw where you posted that you take hair, skin, and nail vitamins. What kind and where do you get them? Also, what changes have you noticed?

Hey,I've been taking the One Source Complete Hair,Skin and Nail multivitamin. I buy them at Walmart. They come in a white bottle with a purple label.

My hair seems to be growing faster and coming in thicker! I have also noticed new growth around the front hair line. It seems to be coming "back to life"! The vitamins have also helped my skin glow and my nails grow faster/thicker! My DH(being the sweetypie that he is)has also noticed this difference! HTH:)
 
Great! I think I'll pick some up. Was there anyr eason you chose the brand at Wal-mart as opposed to GNC?
 
Well,I also wondered if GNC would be better too but a dermatologists told me that the hair skin and nail vitamins at walmart should be fine! She said to just make sure to get between 2500-3000mcg of Biotin to help with the hair growth!
 
I didn't really price any ones at GNC but Im willing to bet the ones I buy at walmart are alot cheaper!There around 5or6 bucks for 90pills! Two pills a day are the suggested serving,I take them together every mornging right before breakfast!(along with my other vitamins;-))
 
That was going to be my next ?. What others are you taking? I take something for allergies and then Omega 3. WOuld the hair, skin, and nail vitamin replace a regular multi like One A Day?

I also take 'nature made' omega3 and 'nature made' ginkgo biloba.I started the omega3 about a month ago and the ginkgo biloba about two weeks ago(only because my memory is GONEx()

The one that I take is a complete vitamin so yes mine does!I had to find this out the hard way,i was taking my one a day and the HS&N for about a week and couldn't figure out why i was a nervous wreck all the time:eek:,I called my doctors nurse and she pointed out my mistake of both vitamins!

Do you take a herb for allergies or something OTC?
 
I take Allegra and Veramist (sp). I don't know that the Allegra does anything but I've had a flare up lately so I started taking it again. If I don't use the nasal spray, I cann't breathe through my nose, which I HATE!

I got the vitamin today, the same one as you I think. I hope it works because my nails need hels as well.
