Anyone have any tips on how they would incorportate leg extentions and leg curls into PS legs? I have a new bench that has a leg attachment on it and was wondering how to squeeze them in. Possibly do them instead of the lunges?? But didn't really want to start leg ext. right off the bat. Maybe dump the stepups and the lying hams at the end? What would you all do?

I was going to post it to Cathe in the above conference..but know she is busy

Stuff I've read.....

......I get a lot of fitness magazines, and read a lot of weight lifting books, and have read of lower body rotations (two in particular) that start with leg extensions before squats or leg presses. I do that myself in the gym sometimes....start off with 5 sets of leg extensions, since my weak area is that nasty stuff above my knees!

Personally, I'd just add the leg extensions to the first PS part, and substitute the leg curls for the lying hamstring exercise at the end. JUST A SUGGESTION, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Add them in where you can, on whatever day!

Since the leg tape is already so long maybe you could do those exercises on one of the upper body days that was shorter, or skip the ab part of PS Legs and Abs and do them there.

Another suggestion would be to split up the leg tape into two workouts and add them onto the floorwork part of the tape to make that workout the same length as the others.

Have you thought about doing them

as a separate workout? I got a bench for Mother's Day and I love doing the extensions and the hamstring work. I do that workout on alternate days because I love the whole PS workout but find adding to it too much. So, on my alternate leg day, I do squats, lunges, dips, extensions and hamstring work. And I do step ups. I think it was a Firm video which said that step ups work like a leg press machine. That way I fully utilize my new toy plus fully enjoy my PS tape!

Thanks everybody:O)

I like all the suggestions

Since my most icky part of the body is that yuk above the knee too...I think I will probably be using them all at some point!hehehe
