Protein Powder Recommendations

Hey everyone,

I've decided that I would like to try a protein powder to up my protein intake. I wondered if anyone had a recommendation for me? I am looking for a lower calorie powder, that doesn't taste too terrible (I'm thinking I'll make a shake), and has over 20g of protein a serving. Thanks in advance for your help!

Probolic SR which is a 12 hour muscle feeder with more amino acids then you can shake a stick at! Has glutamine too for recovery. You can get it in choc., vanilla, and strawberry for $39.99 at GNC

The best I've managed to find is Optimum Nutrition's Whey Protein. Off the top of my head, I think it's got 23g protein, 3g carbs & 0g fat per serving - and it's cheap too. Mixes well with water and tastes great in double chocolate :)

Biotest Grow, 110 calories, 20g protein, 3g carbs and 2g fat. Absolutely no aftertaste and it's a thick even when mixing with water only.

I have several people at work hooked on it!

Jay Robb's WHEY Protein powder, found at Whole Foods (here in Boston) and online jayrobb.com.

Delicious, much like above, mixes well with water. Try the strawberry and add 1/2 cup frozen strawberries...YUMMO!

Calories 113/Fat 0.5/Carbs 3.5/Protein 24g
