protein for STS?

Hi Christy, I see no one replied to your posting...anyways, I love my post workout shake, it tastes great and is refreshing, I use:

4 oz. blueberry blackberry acai juice + 4oz. water
2 scoops whey/soy protein
5 g creatine + 5 g glutamine
frozen banana
1 Tbs. sugar in the raw

this shake's nutritional value is 342 cal
1 g fat (3%)
60g carbs (70%)
26 g protein (30%)

The recipe my DH and I use most mornings is this: In a vitamixer add 1 frozen banana, a whole apple (stem, seeds etc), two cups of spinach, one whole carrot peeled, 1 scoop (per person) of vanilla protein powder, ice, water (to desired consistency) and whatever else you like to add e.g. flax oil, seed etc...and mix!

We love it and it tastes like a banana shake. This carries me until around 9-9:30 am ( I rise around 4:45 am) then I have another breakfast.

We are not fussy about brand. My DH's goal is low price.
