Protein Drinks>Dry Mix or Liquid?

Which is best, the dry mix or the liquid? Just seems like when you buy the already made liquid protein drinks they can be so expensive for just a 4 pack. Seems like the dry mix would last longer, but is it as good?
What kind do you use and what is the best?

Hi,

I usually use the Optimum Nutrition Whey protein powder. You can either mix it with milk or water(I mix it with milk). I usually get the chocolate flavor & it tastes pretty good. I have had all of the other flavors and they are pretty good too. I get it at www.bodyconcept.com. They carry it for a pretty good price. Each scoop is 23 grams of protein & if you mix it with milk then you get a few extra grams. My DH really likes this brand too. We have tried quite a few & this one taste the best in hour opinion.

Thanks Aila. I just got the whey protein mix and it is only 19 grams of protein, I forget what brand it is...bought it from Wal Mart, but I also bought some beef jerky and peanuts to help "pump" up those protein grams so I do get enough protein. :) BTW, anyone getting sick of eggs???

I figure, why haul the water home, when I can just add it here? I always use powder, and then add it to kefir, soy milk, juice, whatever I want.

Mmmm. I love blending the vanilla flavor with frozen berries, soy milk, ground flax seed and for breakfast, whole-rolled oats. I also add a couple of packets of splenda or sweet-n-lo. I have a bad sweet tooth. It comes out thick like a shake. After workouts, I use 2 scoops instead of one.
