Protein Cake

This is an awsome recipe i have discovered in a small bowl put your peanut butter 1 or 2 Tbsp. With your protein powder(sometimes it's a full scoop for me and sometimes half a scoop). Add a packet of splenda (if desired) and mix. Add a tad bit of water or Milk until it's a paste like consistency or like pudding. Microwave for 45-50 seconds or until it's a cake like consistency. Eat and you will be amazed how much it tastes like cake or a brownie.:)

Wow...that sounds too good to be true. Hmmmm...I'll have to try this and post back. Thanks!!

Okay...I'm posting back because I've been making these for the past few days. For those of you who are lo carbing, dieting whatever...these are a pretty good substitute for browny cravings. Keep in mind...I'm not a candy bar, super sweet freak anyway, so this may be why I appreciate these. I just like something once in a while and these satisfy the craving!! Thanks for posting this..it's worth resurrecting.

This didn't work well for me... I started out wrong, too much milk, then I added more protein powder to compensate.. and had to microwave for at least 2 minutes to get it to not be soupy..

If you use one scoop, about how much liquid do you use? 1 or 2 tbls? I really want this to be good! I need some sort of after dinner "treat" that isn't ice cream!x(

I'm not sure I got the consistency right, but it sure tasted good! I used a vegan chocolate/p.nut butter protein powder (1 half scoop), 2 tbsps of p.nut butter and a SMALL amount of soymilk. I stirred until it made a paste (very thick but not dry) and microwaved for 40 seconds. The microwave dried out the texture and gave it a 'cakey' type feel (although it didn't look like cake at all), and tasted great! YUM! Thanks for posting!

This is really good--a GREAT way for me to get my protein in! I hate protein drinks....

So, is it cheating if you add a scoop of ice cream??? }(

Thanks for the recipe!

I'm going to try again with 1/2 scoop of powder and start with a tablespoon of milk this time.. I did add the walnuts, but because I added too much milk, it was awful!x(

Couldn't check the forum for a few days due to computer problems.

Glad some of you liked these!! Perfect substitute for a lo carber. I used vanilla protein powder and added pure cocoa powder, but I'm going to try finding chocolate protein powder in the future. I also used 1/2 scoop protein powder, 2 tbls natural peanut butter, a little rice milk (or water), and walnuts. I wave them for about 50 seconds.
