Prostatitis

Just to let everyone know that the doctor told me that what i most likely have is prostatitis. It is a bugger to shift and will require a course of at least 4 weeks anitbiotics. I am going to BUMPA (private) to make sure as the test the doc will take wont be in for 5 weeks and i don't want to wait. I was told this is a secondary infection and a by product of the original infection (which was an NSU). Thank you to everyone that has sent me replies to my worries and those that have sent me hugs, prayers and general kindness...i cannot tell you how much it means to me. I thank you all so much.
Wayne.

So glad you found out the problem and treatment is on the way ... well I guess I was close in telling you to get that prostate checked eh?
So glad for you :)

Yay! That must have been such a relief to finally have an answer. Did they say how long it will take for the medicine to start working and you to feel like yourself again?
I'm so happy that you finally found out though. Now you can work on recovery, yayaya!

Thanks for the replies...

I am going for a double check at BUPA on Monday (just to make sure that is what it is) but it kinda fits the bill. I'm hoping all will be well again soon. I have forgot what its like to be able to drink something and not feel the need to pee it out within five minutes or so. I have not been able to not to to the toilet at least twice every hour for the past month, its been very upsetting. Thank you all for relying to my message. Thank you again.

Wayne - what a relief! Hope you get over it quickly! Just knowing should relieve a lot of the stress you've been feeling.
