Hello Cathe; I have your basic step + Body Fusion tape and I love it. I just want to make sure on the Abs exercises that I am breathing properly. On the roll ups do I inhale while on the floor and exhale when rolling upwards... Also I have read that during all abdominal exercises you should tilt your pelvis slightly is this right? Thank You.
Hi Cass! You should exhale during the portion of the exercise that is most difficult. This will keep you from holding your breath and straining which could cause you to get lightheaded (and encourage building a rock hard pooch too )
I'm not sure that I agree with keeping your pelvis slighty tilted at all times with every exercise. I think it depends on the exercise and what you are trying to accomplish.
