Progressing with HiiT workout

So I'm doing the 30/30 routine on the shock cardio HiiT DVD. I started off doing 15 seconds & now I'm up to 25 seconds. I've been doing it for about 2 months. Has anyone else had to progress in this way & how long has it taken you to do it the full 30 seconds?? I'm trying to be patient with myself but I want to be able to do it like the Cathe crew!

I totally understand that concept. I've progress to doing 8 cycles before I turn back into 20/40 mode. So the first 8-9 cycles, i can go the full 30 seconds. But as it progresses toward the end, my times get shorter. But, the first month, I was definitely a 20/40 while doing 30/30.

Keep working at it. You'll get there soon.
 
Hi Flygee! I can understand your frustration of wanting to be there already but the best news is that the extreme effort is what makes you stronger. The clock time will improve eventually but if you are currently going all out for as long as YOU can...that's still Hiit Training. So consider yourself HIIT :eek:
