Programming DVD Player - HELP!

Hello everyone. Recently I purchased a Sony 5 Disc DVD player. It was listed on the VF website as a fully programmable DVD player. I have followed the instructions from Cathe's website and the owner's manual that came with my DVD player. I am trying to make a program using Imax 2, Boot Camp, and Cardio & Weights. I programmed the DVD player and I can see the program. I can even start the DVD program, but I cannot get the program to play back and forth between the two DVD's. Does this make any sense? I have it programmed so that it should go back and forth between the two DVD's. The program starts with several sections from Disc 2, then it is supposed to do a section from Disc 1. Instead of going to Disc 1 it skips down to whatever is programmed next for Disc 2. Is there something simple I am missing here? Please help me somebody! Technology FRUSTRATES me so much!;(
Thanks to anyone who can help! Have a good evening!

Hi not Cathe or SNM but, I had a similar thing happen with our Sony 5-disk player. My problem was solved by making sure the player was in "multi-disk" mode instead of "single disk" mode.

You can check this by hitting "display" on your remote and scroll down until you see the picture that looks like a disk (3rd or 4th from the top I think). If it's set to multi-disk, ours looks like a disk with several fanned out behind it (like a deck of cards). Single disk mode will show only one disk in the picture. Once you are there if you hit enter (I think) it will toggle between the two. I hope this helps you.

When we got the changer I was so thrilled that I'd be able to make multi-disk programs! But during the first time when it didn't go to the next disk, OOOOO did my Hubby hear me! "I THOUGHT THIS *&@$!# THING WOULD DO MORE THAN ONE DISK!!!! FIX IT!!!!" and like the great guy he is he did!

It is so frustrating to be nice and sweaty, have your heart-rate up there and then have to stop and fiddle with the technology!!!

Cathe has asked in the past that we keep this forum to strictly question for technique & form for her. I would kindly ask that you ask this question on the Video/DVD or Open Discussion forum.

Thanks.

Thank you Nadine! I thought that I had done this, but I will try again! Thank you for your kind response!
