This is true, which is why they do not prescribe it for people who suffer eating disorders.
I like the suggestion also from the poster who said that even though you are used to working out in the evening, typically this is not recommended and probably, it is not helping you right now either. She is right: our body changes as we age and what once worked may now need to be changed. I want to encourage you to find another time during the day when you can work out: say no later than 5pm?
In your situation, I would try the Wellbutrin, to try and gain control of the situation and ensure quality sleep for a few months to restore my sanity and energy reserves. If what Bobbi says is true, having you operating as "legally drunk" during the day when sleep deprived is a big concern for me and it should be for anyone who knows you. Might it not put yourself or others in danger when you drive or at work?
Lastly, and I hope this does not seem trite, try weight training with Cathe's Slow & Heavy series. I am enjoying this series right now and I tell you, it is making me so tired I can fall asleep at the drop of the hat. I slept tons on Friday night and was still so zonked by this routine that I napped for 4 hours on Saturday afternoon. Many people on these forums have said that they too are sleeping extra when on a Slow & Heavy rotation so maybe it could help you?
Take care,
Clare
