Printing Postage

Just wondering if anyone prints their own postage using a free service. I recently signed up with Stamps.com to send small packages first class. I was referred to this site by someone at the US Postal Service 1-800 number because the USPS doesn't offer the option to print 1st class postage. I signed up with Stamps.com for a free trial period. After the trial period (4 weeks) the cost is about $16 per month. I don't ship enough to justify spending that, but am wondering if there are other sites that don't charge for this. TIA :)

I have never used this service, but $16 a month does sound excessive just for the ability to print your own postage.

Now, I have sold some stuff on ebay and have purchased and printed my own postage through them and they did not charge me for that (at least not that I can remember). They just charged me their regular ebay fees.

Thanks Bonnie, Tracy & sjane. It sounds like you have to purchase something to get free postage. I will remember the paypal tip the next time I use it or go through ebay - thanks!
