prep tapes for Rhythmic Step

For those who having trouble with, or are too intimidated to start in on, Rhythmic Step, I have a couple of suggestions that I just thought of. There a couple of tapes that are good prep for the kinds of moves and rhythm changes that are characteristic of Cathe's video. Reebok: Step, Rhythm, and Moves has some similar moves, and really breaks everything down. Also, CIA 9806: A Step Workout with the sisters has lots of mambo and cha-cha moves, but at a slightly slower pace.

Tough Tape fans are going to giggle, but my big breakthrough in step choreography came when I was doing those darn FIRM ballroom aerobics. I was also taking swing dance lessons at the time. Before that, I wasn't able to do even MSB or Step Heat.

Just a suggestion. Maybe others would like to share their hard-earned lessons as well.

Funny story. My "hard-earned" lesson is skipping the mambo's and cha cha's altogether :) I'm just not a dancey person and I have trouble doing those moves on carpeting anyway. I modify by adding another more athletic move.

Thanks

Hmmm, I do have 9806 and the Step, Rhythm and Moves. I'll try and work on them in my spare time tho it'll be awhile before I'm brave enough to move beyond Get in Shape for Your Wedding and Steppin Motion I. :)
