Someone here might have a response for you, but you might have better luck if you post the same question in the pregnancy forum. Go to the bottom of the forum page and select "jump to another forum" and go to the "fit Moms pregnancy and postpartum" page.

Good luck with the pregnancy!

Hi Stacy,

There's no reason to stop doing Cathe's workouts while pregnant, if you're having a "normal" pregnancy. You will have to modify as you go along, but it's very achievable. Check out the pregnancy forum, as Jenn suggested. There's quite a bunch of us over there, and newcomers are always welcome!!

Cheers,
Sandra

You can do Cathe weight workouts for the entire pregnancy, if you feel up to it. I stopped doing them around month 8 because I just started to get too tired. I modified the bench presses to always do them on a slant, because it's supposedly not good to lie flat on your back when you're in the later pregnancy stage. You also won't be able to do barbell rows when your belly gets in the way.

As far as aerobics goes, once your belly starts getting bigger and your center of gravity is messed up, you should do a less intense/lo-impact workout. You may even want to walk. I did get a step aerobic video specific for pregnant women. It was annoying and dull, but it was something. You can find those at Collage Video. Read Fit Pregnancy for advice.

The pregnancy workouts are so dull and too easy. Just make sure you do not lay flat...I was told not to lay flat for AB work beyond 12-14 weeks.
