Hey guys - no word from Christie - I wonder if she'll have a more exciting post for us later!! I'll keep my fingers crossed. Gosh, I can't wait until it's my turn to have my due date right around the corner!
Well, I finally had a good week. I am feeling much better in the mornings (nauseous-wise) and was actually able to workout in the mornings again. It helps so much as I am so much less likely to put off a workout as I get tired or too busy with work or other commitments. I hope I can stick with it. Of course, I started to get a sinus-type cold towards the end of the week, but so far it has been mild enough that I haven't had to modify yet.
Sun: Off
Mon: All Step
Tues: 10 10 10
Wed: Step and Intervals
Thur: Cardio Kicks up until the interval portion
Fri: Off
Sat: Leaner Legs
I have noticed that stepping seems so much easier for me than hi-lo or kickboxing as my joints just get so sore (my feet and ankles hurt quite a bit during the kickboxing tape) and my uterus feels uncomfortable when I am jumping around on the floor vs the step. I haven't needed to make many modifications yet. I have moved to a 6" board (quite awhile ago) and am only using 25 lbs on leaner legs, eliminating plie squats. I kept getting a pain in my quad that would last for 4-days when I was doing the plies tape. I stopped them and I haven't had that pain since.
Hope everyone had a great week! My 28-week appt is on Wed.
