Hi everyone!
Hope you all had a nice weekend. Sounds like you did. We don't celebrate Mother's Day or Father's Day--just more stress and money, so we let each other off the hook.
My wonderful Dh did, however, help me get the garden planted, which was my weekend goal. We've done everything, but the flowers, which are not as urgent as the vegetables. Now, we pray it all grows after all that work.
I am in the 3rd trimester today--26 weeks down and 14 to go, although I am seriously considering being induced a week early for planning reasons. Dh will be working almost an hour away most likely and my labors are going faster and faster.
My workouts last week:
MM
Low Max, 1-6
GS BSB
Imax 2, with leg work during the intervals--this gal can't jump!
GS CT
Cardio Toolbox, 1st 2 sections
Lisa--I'm totally understanding about the lower back pain. I struggle with it too--the SI joint of my lower right back/butt area, especially. I cannot kick box or jump and I always lower my step hight to 4"--those things help. I also use the stationary bike quite a bit. I'd love to have access to a pool. You will love low max--when I first got it, I did it all the time because the fun factor was so high. Enjoy!
Morris--a picnic on a Sunday sounds nice--things must be warming up in your neck of the woods. Is the snow all gone? Sorry about the bummer pregnancy hormones--I'm right there with you. I think I'm having a bi-polar pregnancy, not to make light of the disease--it's just that I am having real highs and lows and the emotional roller-coaster is not fun.
Kate--definitely have your girls there for your ultrasound if you can. They are at a great age for having a younger sibling. My kids are always talking to my belly and asking--"is she kicking?". Sometimes she kicks way "inside" my enormous womb and no one can feel her but me, but if she is kicking "on the surface", everyone wants to feel her (well, the three big kids--the three little ones, don't quite get it except that "there's a baby in there".) Time is flying--your ultrasound will be here before you know it. Can I have some granola?:9
Jen--so scary with that shot--I'm glad they make everyone wait 30 min. LOL on your son. What's really bad is when they say something naughty and it makes you laugh--I always try to hide my laughter, because then they want to say that particular thing again and again, but it's hard. Feeling the baby move is a reassuring feeling.
Hi Kristan! Hi Anne! Hi Lurkers!
