Prayers and Hugs for Wil, please...

Kirsten,

I see you are in Atlanta and yes, we'll be at Children's Healthcare at Scottish Rite...they're wonderful...doctors and nurses. Thanks for your inspiring words as one who's experienced similar circumstances. Wil's done this one once before (and others) and will probably have one more as a teen. But it never gets easier for a mom when your child is wheeled away for surgery.:)

All of you guys are wonderful and your prayers and hugs mean the world to us. I 've shared them with Wil and he smiled and said "thanks".

We're about to have lunch and get on the road. We're taking you guys with us, so to speak.:)

I hope to check in Thursday night.
 
Melody, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I'm sure you have heard this, but Wil didn't turn out to be such a wonderful child on his own. YOU and you DH raised him that way. You and your husband are obviously great people and wonderful parents!
By the way, your boys are beautiful!

I hope I didn't miss you Melody! You made me cry! I think it is amazing how blessed all of you are to have eachother. I wish you all the best and won't stop thinking of you guys! We are all always here for support, even in spirit.

Melody, my thoughts are with you and your family. You are blessed to be Wil's mom, but keep in mind that Wil is also blessed because he is YOUR son. I wish you all the best. Remember the joshua tree. ;-)

Well, I've never prayed before in my life, but I sent a prayer up to the heavens today for our little Wil, the trooper, who's going to show us all what it really means to be brave.

I am praying for Wil and am totally inspired by his strength and courage. He is truly an angel to teach us all how to live, really live. I am also praying for you because it takes such a special person to be the mommy of such an angel. May everything go well and please let us all know how everything goes tomorrow. You ALL are in my thoughts.

Will is an amazing boy and your family is blessed by him, as he by you!
Will sounds like an angel from heaven, and God will hold him up during the surgery. I will pray for God's guidance of the surgeons'and the nurses' hands and all the staff that will care for him. I will also pray for you and your family that you will be blanketed with peace and understanding through this whole process. We'd all love to meet Will one day, as he blesses everyone he encounters. God will continue to bless you and your family Melody!
