Powerstrike Forza

Hello, everyone. I was wondering if any of you who purchased the new Powerstrikes has done the Forza workout. I'd love to hear some feedback. Thanks!

Nancy

I got my new Powerstrike last night. I can't say for sure if I like it yet or not. It didn't seem as tough as Millenium 1 or 2, but I think that was because I spent some of the workout marching. She has some karate moves that are new to me and I couldn't get them on the first try. The quality is nice and Ilia (sp?) is much prettier than I ever realized. Her abs are to die for, that's for sure.

I just recieved my dvd's last night. The Powerstrike Kickbox has tons of lower body (lots of kicks) I love kicking! Roundhouse, Front Push and she added the Crescent Kick. So I think this is a great lower body + core workout. I have only watched the Forza - waiting for my Bokken in mail. IMO this looks like a LOT of Fun and like an incredible upper boy workout cannot wait to do this one! The first section of Forza starts out with basic moves half cut and full cut. The next 2 sections add more moves along with squats and footwork. This workout looks as though it also has the positive mental affect.

I have fairly low ceilings in my basement where I workout. Do you think the Forza workout would be worthwhile if I don't use a Bokken?

Nancy

IMO you need the bokken. When I searched for a bokken I found most were 40 long. I don't remember her just holding it straight above her head. She went back at an angle then over her head parallel to the floor to begin the full and half cut. That is the best way I can describe how much space would be needed. I would email Ilaria and ask her if she has an measurement to give you or if there is something you could substitute. She is pretty good about responding to emails. You can contact her through her web site. I hope this helps.
