PowerHour - OMG!!!

I received PH yesterday and did it for the first time last night. What a workout!! That is probably the most challenging workout I have ever done. I haven't done any weight lifting in quite some time so it really gave my muscles a shock. I think I heard them screaming " what are you trying to do to us?!" But I am going to keep at it. If this doesn't get me toned up, nothing will. Thanks Cathe!

This is a great endurance tape--I was so addicted to it last month! I broke away from it the last 3 weeks to do a Slow and Heavy rotation. I miss it--will be doing it again this weekend. I ageee, this works my muscles like no other workout I have. It's amazing that no other video I have leaves my legs so fried like Power Hour-and the legs are only worked for 2 segments! One workout I will never trade away!

RE: Sigh....

I can't wait to buy this tape too. I heard so many good comments about it. This is my next purchase. It won't be until March, because of bills. But I'm looking forward to it.

I did PH for the first time this morning. WOW! This is the first Cathe workout I have ever done and it was so tough. And to think I thought I was in shape.

Firmbogie,

I love PH! Although it is tough, it feels like it goes by so much faster than MIS. I am wondering if you see better results with Slow and Heavy. I can not decide if I need it.

Two leg segments, but...

In the squat segment alone, you are doing over 120 squats! (I counted once)

I found Power Hour really difficult the first couple times for my legs, and I did it at lower weights than Cathe after nearly dying the first time trying to imitate her level. The other parts were not as bad, but I was shocked at the weights, which seemed small, although for most of them I DID use Cathe's weight. What I discovered was that three weeks of SH led to increased endurance for PH. Now I match Cathe on the weights for squats and lunges, and I have even stopped groaning! I also have no trouble with the 35 pound barbell for MIS (I did before) and use a 40 lb barbell for PSLA. I think SH is responsible, and I use a 45 lb. barbell for the legs in SH. I strongly recommend SH to help you with the other weight workouts.
