PowerHour/Body Pump for weight loss or ?

If a person is looking for weight loss should they do the more traditional weight lifting or is BodyPump/PowerHour ok? I've been doing the BodyPump/PowerHour thing for several months now and have slowly been putting ont he wieght. The weight lifting seems to be the only difference (in diet and workouts).
 
All forms of weight lifting, along with a clean diet and cadiovascular program, aid in weight loss, so select the type that challenges you and that you know you will stay committed too. Good Luck!
