POWER HOUR

Does it matter if you do PHour the day after strength training? Also, I am finally back to doing Slow & Heavy after tennis elbow and I noticed the day after triceps I could really feel how hard they got worked, then almost the same for shoulder Then the following week almost nothing. I had spent the previous few months doing upper body at the gym as I had the support of the machines, so I was still getting a good upper body workout in, just curious?

Thumbs up for Rhythmic Step, I always enjoy that tape, the variety of steps along with the upbeat music, the time just flies by.

Hi! If you are extremely sore in any particular area from strength training (say for instance triceps) the day before you do Power Hour, then skip these particular body parts in the Power Hour tape so that these muscles can recover properly.

As for using the machines, yes, you were still getting a good workout. Using free weights works your muscles a bit more independently so you will feel a difference when you switch from machines to free weights. Both are great ways to strength train. If you have access to both, that is better yet for cross training purposes. Glad you like Rhythmic Step :) Take Care!
