PotC - At World's End

Okay, who's seen it? I saw it this afternoon. LOVED it. Liked it much better than Dead Man's Chest. And YOWZAH does Orlando Bloom ever look good, especially at the end.}(

I can't talk about it with my SO because he didn't go with us, and he doesn't want to know anything because we're seeing it together next weekend!! It's killing me!
 
Well, then, tell ME all about it. I've never seen one of these movies and I want to know what they're like. Details, details.
 
I saw it yesterday. I also liked it much better than # 2, although it was very long and very confusing at times!

Did you see the scene AFTER the credits?

Yap, I would seriously consider leaving my DH for Will Turner (just kidding - hmmmh maybe not :) ) Actually I always thought that Orlando Bloom was the better-looking guy, Johnny Depp as Captain Jack just cracks me up though. He is just PERFECT for the role!

I think I am going to have to watch it again!

Ok - hubby and I are going tomorrow but he is the type that as soon as he thinks the movie is over gets up and leaves argh! I hate that and always feel I'm missing something so please share what is after the credits? Please?

Yes, you would be missing something!!! So just stay there and convince hubby to stay too. If push comes to shuff, you can always pretend you got dizzy or hurt your ankle }(

Just got back from it. My DD and her friends(ages 14) decided to dress up like pirates, and it was fun to just hang back and watch people's reaction to them. The movie is long, and the girls made us wait all they way through the credits.

LOL Okay then I guess I'll have to strap him to his seatt as long as I can :p and try to convince him to stay as it'll be well worth it-I hope ;)

We are going to see the 3 pm showing I can't wait! :7
 
I haven't seen the movie yet but am hoping to see it tomorrow or Monday. I've always thought Orlando Bloom was hot. First in Lord of the Rings as Legolas and now in Pirates.

BTW, when I read PotC in the thread title I pronounced it Potsie in my head and thought of the character from Happy Days.:+ :p

I didn't care for it at all. I thought the first one was great but 2 & 3, something was just lost. I felt like the plot had a lot of holes in it. Orlando Bloom did look really, really good, especially at the end. We got up and left before the credits were done...after almost 3 hours I had to get up immediately! I'll be watching this thread in case someone decides to induldge what we missed by leaving before the credits were through.

Well I'm on my way to go see it now - but I doubt I'll be able to stay until the credits end he's already said that sitting in amovie for 3 hours is more than enuf :( meh..... my hubby is not a very patient man and hates to sit through credits at all - guess I'll find out when it comes on dvd :(

Dorothyd, I LOVE it that your DD and her friends went to the movie dressed like pirates! What a cute idea! Makes me want to buy a stuffed parrot and an eyepatch for when DH and I go tomorrow! (Going to see "PotC - At World's End" is our way of celebration of 12 years of maritalhood.)

Thanks for the heads-up on staying through the entire credits for a bonus scene, folks!

Also, where / when does Keith Richards pop up? Or is that part of the surprise?

Nope, no surprise. His appearances are quite short, about half-way through the movie and then again at the end. I guess it wasn't planned to be that short of a appearance but remember, he was drunk or full of drugs and fell off a tree - it still cracks me up
}( - which was during the time they were filming.
