Post-surgery rotation?

Cathe,

I am having surgery on the 24th of May for a breast reduction (YAH!). While I look forward to eventually jumping and running without the risk of giving myself a black eye (haha), I am trying to determine a post surgery exercise rotation that will help me recuperate and regain any strength I lose in the 2 week recovery period.

My orders will be to not lift heavy or strenously for 2 weeks. For weeks 3&4 I will be able to start light exercise again. I still need to confirm with the doctor if I can start with light lifting. Well, as DD weights 22 lbs, she isn't exactly light either :), so I will see about more detailed instructions on my pre op appt.

But (in my long winded way of getting to the point), I would love your input on a 2 week rotation for the light weeks 3&4 post surgery. I have all your DVD's.

Currently I am doing a 12 week rotation with strength 3 times a week, and cardio 2 times a week. I am focusing on trying to build good core and chest muscles, since I know those area's will be weaker post surgery.

Thanks for your time!
