Happy Belated Thanksgiving. We just returned from Thanksgiving at my in laws. like everyone else I overate, but I did bring a tv/vcr so i could exercise. I also got some great exercise holiday shopping. Poor Alexis hit 3 malls with me. She still does not like the bottle but will take it when I am not near. She is still snacking all day but has been sleeping better. she actually slept last night from 10-5:20. Hopefully that will last. I am still holding on to those last few pounds. Well, i'll try to remember my workout week.

Hi everyone!

We had a pretty good Thanksgiving. No fighting over politics or anything this time which was really nice:p. I did not shop on Black Friday. I never have and I never will. I don't like crowds of people and it sounds insane. I do almost all of my shopping online now anyway, but I will have to actually go to a store to finish up my Christmas shopping, because I want to actually see what I am buying.

Two of the kiddos got a vomiting thing yesterday and I was all freaked out, because I didn't want the baby to get it. It's funny, but the more kids I have, the more illness worries me. You would think it would be the other way around. So far no one else is sick, but I can't say for sure if we are "safe" yet.

Bardric weighs 16 lbs now. We think this is funny, because our 3rd child ( a girl) weighed 18 lbs at 18 months. He is almost that big at 12 weeks! They are all so different.

I lost 5 inches and 4 lbs over my last 4 week rotation, so as of 2 weeks post partum, I have lost 9 lbs and 10 inches (spread over various body parts) I haven't weighed this week yet and because of the holiday, I don't really want to, but will for accountability. 41 lbs to go!

I will post my workout week on Tuesday after I am done for the week. Suffice it to say that today, I am quite sore from PLB, which I did yesterday.

Shopaholic--good news about Alexis sleep patterns and the bottle:7 And I admire you for shopping on Thanksgiving weekend. Almost everyone I know (but me) does it:). I'll bet your body is hanging on to the last few pounds because it is just a few pounds. I'll bet you look awesome. I on the other hand--twice! have had people pat my tummy and ask me if I am expecting again already (puhleeze--let's use our thinking skills here--not pregnant, just fat}( )Oh well, the humiliation of it has kept me from eating as much as I would like.

Take care everyone!
Maggie

We didn't do much shopping on Friday, just hit Costco for some
grazing, bought 2 lamps at a home store, then went to see Elf. (During movie, Baby stayed with aunts and cousins who had fun babysitting.)

Sun- rest
Mon- none (didn't get around to it!)
Tue- Leaner Legs
Wed- Imax 2
Thu- none (thought about it!)
Fri- Pyramid Bonus Combo
Sat- Imax Xtreme

Call me crazy, but I'm already starting to think about when I will have my second child! I want Maxwell to have a sibling really close in age. I'm just trying to figure out how long it will take before my body (and mind) will be ready.

I just remembered the workout I did Tues, it was new bodybar workout with Keli Roberts. Maggie, you should be really proud of yourself for all the weight you've lost and the hard workouts you are doing. In terms of my shopping on black Friday, unlike previous years, I didn't make it to the mall until late afternoon. other years, i made the earlybird morning specials. In terms of weight loss, in clothes I look nearly the same as preprego, most of my old clothes fit just tightly. I am just not ready for the beach yet, tummy has a ways to go. Alexis now fits comfortably in her 0-3 month outfits, Maggie what size is your son in now? Emy is your son still snacking alot during the day? alexis still is.

Hi there

Wow, impressive workout week. How funny that Bardric is in 6-9 month outfits, alexis is finally filling out her 0-3 month outfits, but still has room to grow in them. I finally moved her out of her newborn diapers and into size 1 diapers today, Alexis would look like a peanut next to him.

Shopaholic, No Max isn't snacking anymore. I think because he is so big. Alexis will probably stop snacking when she gets bigger.

He turned 3 months on Sunday and weighed in at 15 pounds 11 ounces. His size probably helps him to sleep through the night too.

I can't believe your baby just moved out of newborn diapers. I think Max was too big for them in less than a month. He is getting too big for his size 2 diapers. For me, it has been sad each time I have graduated him to the next size up! I loved how cute and little the Huggies Newborns were!

Also, his size 3-6 months clothes are getting snug, and he can even wear some 6-12 month pieces.

Wow, Max really caught up in size, wasn't he a small baby? Alexis continues to grow appropriately but I think will remain on the petite size, I am 4 foot 11 1/2. I am hoping Alexis will stop snacking soon, it still feels as if i'm spending my day nursing. I nurse her before leaving the house and when we get to our destination even 10 minutes away she is hungry again.

That's interesting that Alexis is still so small. I think snacking is what made Max so big! (He started out 6 pounds 13 ounces).

Hi.
The snacking theory is an interesting one--our snacker was our smallest at birth (8lbs 3 oz) and was only 18 lbs at 18 mo. For the longest time she was in the tenth percentile for both weight and height. Now almost 5 she is 10% weight, but 25% height.

Emy--our kids are all spaced between 2 and 2 yrs 5 mo apart and are quite close. I always get baby fever when I wean them;)

take care
Maggie
