Polar Heart Monitor Question

I posted this morning the info that Polar is selling the F11 HR Monitor for 30% off - $111.87 (free shipping) if you send your old monitor back to them w/in 30 days of receiving your new F11. What I forgot to ask in my post this morning is - has anyone ever done this - is it really a good deal? I've only bought one HR monitor about 6 months ago, an A5 and read through this site that the F11 is really good. Would like to get it, just want to make sure there isn't something I don't know attached to Polar's deal. So, that is what I left out - the most important part, the question.

I have never done this but Polar is a good company. They are probably just going to fix up your old one and sell it for dirt cheap or use the parts.

I have the a5 and love it. My next one would be the F11. I'd take the deal, especially since you get your F11 before you have to surrender you a5.
