Polar F11 Owners - Help

Is your monitor picking up 'electro-magnetic' signals from your TV or DVD-VCR? Mine seems to be doing this as my hr sometimes reads as 120+% which is pretty impossible. Anyway, Polar technicians say it's due to above mentioned signals. Very curious if anyone else is having this problem (also does yours freeze from time to time)? Please let me know before I do something stupid which will be to buy another one before I send mine back to be looked at.

Do you have everything set up in yours, ie age, wt etc. If not the 120% could be what the computers perceives your resting and max rates are. Before sending it back, you might just try setting everything back up from the beginning as if you got it new. If you have data that you want to keep, upload it to your computer using a microphone on your PC
website is polarfitnesstrainer.com before you reset everything. Polar may be able to tell you how to wipe it clean to start over.

I did reset it with their instructions - everything is/was set. They did tell me to take a toothbrush to the transmitter and gently clean it - so will do that before sending it back. I just did an exchange with them - I'm sending them my old A5 for a new F11 in case I do have to send this one back because I'm a nutcase who's addicted to this monitor. Thank you.
