I've become a huge fan of Podcasts over the last couple of years and am always on the lookout for a good one to add to my list. I love to listen to them while I'm working, driving and walking the dogs, so I could potentially listen to them for hours a day.

My favorites are:

Stuff You Should Know
Stuff You Missed In History Class
NBC Nightly News
Meet the Press
Morning Joe
The Moth

Does anyone have any favorites worth checking out?

I also listen to the stuff you should know podcasts and the moth. You might also like Radiolab, This American Life, and Planet Money.

I rarely listen to music or the radio - podcasts are great!

Edited to add a couple more...:)

Foodwise (if you like cooking or eating) - I like Spilled Milk and The Sporkful
Fitnesswise I have gotten bored with Dr. Fitness and the Fat guy unless they have a good interview. Two Fit Chicks and a Microphone I like when they don't talk so much about blogging.
I heard some people recommend Too Beautiful to Live and I listened a few times but couldn't get into it.
If you are a runner - I like Two Gomers Run a Marathon or Half Marathon (they have a couple out there and will be starting a new series in a couple months), I also like Marathon Training Academy - good simple advice for any runner.

Then I've been trying out a few knitting podcasts, but if you aren't a knitter, they will put you to sleep. Not good if you are driving!

I like Skepticality - great for science geeks
The Bugle
Rachel Maddow

Cindi turned me on to some of the ones on her list, so I won't repeat them here!

For dieting:

IOWL Inside Out Weight loss, especially the first 18 episodes.

The Reasonable Diet with Sandra Ahten.

Running from the Reaper. He is from the UK and will record on his long runs. Its fun to listen to the episodes from the French Rivera, I've never been there myself.

Thanks for Septicality! I love it!!! Also, Radiolab.... Was listening this morning on the dog walk and was close to tears over the story of the man who was deaf from birth and didn't realize things had names until he got the right teacher.

Glad you enjoyed it. The only bad thing about Radiolab is that they don't come out more often!

OK, can one of you help me! I'm getting frustrated with the Inside Out WeightLoss site. They only have the 3 most recent episodes in iTunes, and they've archived the rest. The only other ones that I want to get that are archived are episodes 133 and 134 but for some reason, I can't get it to download to my iTunes. I click the DOWNLOAD button for each of those episodes, but it actually PLAYS it in a new browser window. What am I missing???
