I have recently read articles about Slimnastics, a program featuring yoga poses interspersed with plyometric intervals, and BUTI, an amalgam of yoga, dance, and plyometrics. Has anyone tried these, and if so, what did you think? Worth the purchase?
I haven't heard about this but would be interested in knowing more. However, I did come across a DVD tilted HiiT Pilates. Now that I couldn't even imagine how it would be done. Just crazy!
Enabler alert! The Slimnastics workouts are on Amazon and the BUTI system is available through the creator's website. My Christmas wishlist is exploding
I'm intrigued by the HiiT Pilates also, sounds like it would make for some great ab work!

Ok so I checked out BUTI and Slimnastics. You will need a completely open mind to do this. Besides as you get better your husband will enjoy the show for sure. As for Slimnastics well I'll put it on my to-do wish list with BUTI for this lifetime but more optimistic for the next life.
I've been incorporating Yoga 1X/week into my exercise regime and want to stick with it long-term. Adding in some plyo to make it a tad more dynamic would be right up my alley. Ohhh I like this .
Hmm, that BUTI workout is certainly unique, specifically the toning one. The women doing it are quite toned, I would love to have legs like that, so perhaps it's very effective?!
The Slimnastics video did not intrigue me really. I've tried to get into yoga but it just is not for me right now. It looks more engaging though than a straightforward yoga workout.
Thanks for the leads; it's always interesting to see new fitness options.
