Thank you so much everyone for the thoughts & prayers!!!
I am home and hopefully on the mend!!
Here's the story, if you care to know.....I had been feeling bad for a while, insomnia, a nervous , shaking feeling, and then last week my heart started pounding in my chest and I had chest pain.
Since I am "cathe-type" shape (not to mean I LOOK like her or am as strong, but I do workout everyday and try to eat well etc..) I just could not believe I was having chest pain so I think I was in denial at first. Saturday morning I realized I had spent a few days on the couch and was exhausted just getting dressed or moving around slightly, and the pounding & chest pain were getting worse so I went to the ER.
They admitted me and I had all the tests, EKG, CT Scan, echocardiogram and stress test. I got the results last night and they feel my heart is okay, but my thyroid medicine is causing the problem. I had my thyroid taken out due to cancer 9 years ago and take synthroid everyday. I had my dose adjusted about 6 weeks ago and they think maybe that started all of this.
Now my dr. here and my specialist in Columbus are going to work together and HOPEFULLY get it figured out!!
I still will see a cardiologist to go over the test results and make sure they didn't miss anything.
I'm SORRY for the book.....just wanted you all to know I thank you so much and even if I won't be joining you in working out for a while, I'll still be popping on here to see what's up!
Why don't they have internet access and computers in every hospital room, that's what I want to know!!??
Thanks again and it's good to be back!
