Again, we do not show charges. Only authorizations. We would be happy to provide reference numbers. Please contact your bank regarding this. It is a common practice for banks to hold an amount when it is authorized. This would not be the actual charge.

Mariangeles, this exact thing happened to me with BB. My account appeared to be charged twice for a purchase, but the first charge was just an "authorization" because I used my debit card instead of my credit card. The charge DID actually come off my account within a short time (I think a week) but also left a VERY bad taste in my mouth with BB purchases. Have you tried using the live help on the BB site? I talked to someone there a couple of times and he was very polite and helpful.

This is very common. It happens with a lot of business not just Beachbody. In fact, the same thing happened to me the other day at Saks. Just wait a day or two it will be taken care of, if you used a CC you are protected anywaya.
 
The bank may not have removed the preauthorized amount because the actual charges didn't match (because BB split the order). Clarify with your bank whether the first amount is a charge or an authorization.

Beach Body certainly has a lot of customer service problems. Hope your resolve this soon.

Hi Stayfit,

I am so sorry you are going through this. For a while there were a lot of complaints about BB double and triple charging, so stay on top of things and contact Amber Otto if necessary. I think someone already gave you a link in another thread. She was very helpful to me (and when she helped me it was a weekend). I have also heard of people who get an initial charge that gets cleared at some point, I believe another poster explained this better.

Don't stress too much just yet, but keep on top of it. Sorry that I wasn't of more help. I hope you clear this up soon.
