Please, help me decide

My goals are to INCREASE muscle size on my LOWER BODY and to define my upper body without gaining too much size in it. I am undecided between PS and a combination of PS and S&H. I was thinking of doing PS Chest Shoulders Triceps and PS Back Biceps Abs twice a week and PS Legs Abs only once a week with more resistance. Another option I thought was doing PS, but substituting the legs part for S&H. I want maximum growth in the legs and butt and only in the legs and butt. Also, although I don't want to increase size in the upper body, I would like nice, rounded shoulders. Is PS good for this?

I think your plan to mix up PS and S&H sounds like a good one. Just some things to think about:

Since you are looking to increase muscle size on your lower body, you may want to do the S&H legs portion twice per week. Or do another leg workout like PS SLA or MIS legs for your second workout.

Lifting your upper body twice per week is key to definition. You may want to consider using the upper body portion of Body Max or MIS for your second upper body workout as they are a bit shorter than the two PS upper body videos combined (if you are short on time).

I am so glad you posted this message as it is exactly what I am trying to accomplish. I have more of an ectomorph shape and my goal is to increase the size of my calves, quads, hamstrings and glutes. Although I want to increase the size, I want my increased size to also be defined. In regards to my upper body, I definitely want my chest to be strong but in general I want to define my upper body and not increae the size in addition to gaining good posture.

For my lower body I have Tough Tape by the Firm, PS Legs and Leaner Legs. I have Power Hour on the way in addition to Powerstrike Millenium 1. I'm still battling purchasing the S&H system due to others' comments and the fact that I only want the one for the Legs.

Can anyone tell me at what point will mixing my strength training with cardio tapes/endurace tapes be counterproductive in that it takes away my efforts at building some defined mass? I wanted to do Powerstrike to help trim my middle and general toning in addition to Power Hour and Body Max without compromising the size I hope to get in my lower body from doing Tough Tape or PS Legs 3x per week.

Sorry for all of the comments and questions but this is my first time and I am so impressed and happy with everyone's openness in helping to advise each other.
 
I am so glad I am not the only one with this goal! I am still battling purchasing S&H too, for the same reason. I don't mind getting also definition in my lower body, but my goal is mostly to increase size (in the legs and buttocks). I am an ectomorph too, I believe. A petite one.

What results have you seen with the videos you mentioned above? What do you think will do the trick?

I am impressed and happy with the friendly attitude of the people of this forums, too.

One more thing! I have read that to grow muscle, one needs to perform less repetitions, only one or two times per week, with more resistance; while to get definition (not size), one needs to do more repetitions and work the muscle more times per week. That is why I plan to work legs only one time per week, using the heaviest weight I can lift.

Now I am a little bit confused because some of you are telling me that because I want to increase size in my lower body, I have to work it more than once per week. Based on what I have read, I believe that the more you work the muscles, the less they grow. :-rollen
