Please Help Me Choose a Cathe Kickboxing Tape!

I've had CTX forever but never did kickbox until this morning. I LOVED it! I'd love to get a longer, even tougher workout similar to it. But which one fits the bill? KickMax? Cardio Kicks? KPC? I particularly like the punching drills and love high intensity cardio.

HELP me spend my money, fellow Cathe fans :7

Thanks for any suggestions!

CK might be most like CTX kickbox, as they were produced around the same time. CK has an ending "drills" segment (kicking and punching). The workout feels more "kickbox flavored cardio" than KPC at times (and some moves use a lot of space if you do them "as-is": I think 16' front-to-back and 20' side-to-side).

KPC is more "pure kickboxing" than CK.

Both are good workouts, but I (who love more 'authentic"-feeling kickboxing workouts, liked KPC right away, and had to warm up to CK.

I personally didn't like KM; it was a real disappointment to me after KPC. The beginning kickboxing moves are lower intensity than KPC, and many of them have pivots (which seem to take the intensity down). The second segment of "jumping around like a cheerleader" drills didn't feel too "kickboxy" to me most of the time, but is great if you like tuck jumps, plyo jacks, and those kinds of moves (I like them in IMAX2, but enough is enough!). I didn't even try the third segment of leg conditioning drills.

I'm with Kathryn - KPC is awesome video.

Also not crazy about KM - in fact this is my least favorite workout of all. Agree it's really alot of jumping rather than kickbox.

I also would say to order KPC and don't get Kick Max. I had done the kpc condensed workout on Fit Tv and I LOVE it. Then, when trying to decide whether to order the full-length kpc dvd or kick max, I decided to order Kick Max because it was less expensive. But I am sorry I didn't order kpc, because I hardly ever do KM. As the other reviewers have said, the kickbox drills aren't intense at all, and the blasts are just a lot of jumping around with no choreography. The leg conditioning drills are okay, but Cathe has better leg work on some of her other dvds.
I will probably break down and order Kick, Punch, and Crunch! By the way, the music is great and very motivating!:)

I think each video has it's place. But with that said and the enthusiam with which you now have for Kickbox...get KPC! But if you can buy 2, then get both KPC and KickMax. :)

Thanks for the comments everyone! I think I'll be getting KPC first, everyone's been raving about it.

KPC would be my first choice, but I happen to love the warm up(a mini kickbox routine within itself) and the high intensity drills(great for add ons to other workouts). The combos are much better in KPC though. CK might be worth it for the drills at the end. Just get them all, if money isn't a major concern. Have fun whatever you decide.

I'll echo everyone else - KPC! I absolutely love this workout. I do like Cardio Kicks as well, but it's not as pure fun (it's dancier). KickMax again, I have to agree - I'm not thrilled with this one. But I do like the blasts. I like the high impact.

My all time favorite workout is the warmup and 1st segment of KPC, the blasts of KM and the drills from CK. That really works me well. But you can get the drills from the Hard Core DVD, if you want some nice combo workouts.

KPC gets my vote too.
Such an awsome workout and so much fun.
I was very disappointed with KM especially after I was so hooked on KPC. KM is still a good cardio but doesn't feel like kickboxing workout compared to KPC.

am i the only one that like kick max??? i LOVE the leg drills at the end!

i like KPC... but i like kick max better!
