Hey Janice, the only Cathe rotation I've followed is her current one (one body part a day), and even then I've modified it a bit. I browse most of the posted rotations (and mish-moshes) to get ideas.
The ones I use a lot for upper body are PS, PUB, PH, MIS, CTX-UB split, Gym Styles and MM. I put in S&H once in a while, also the premixes in SS/PP. Since I have knee problems, I can't work my legs Cathe-style as much as I want anymore. I do PLB or LL or L&G or GS-Legs once every two weeks to shock my legs, which are usually worked these days on the floor or through kickboxing or lower body circuits like CTX-Power circuits and the cardio portion of Body Max. I could use more definition down there but that's where my body likes to store fat. I go moderate to heavy with PLB, but with the rest of the lower body weight workouts, I go moderate to light.
I work on strength and endurance mostly. The best thing for me is to work on strength one week and endurance the next with cardio, legs, yoga and core work interspersed throughout. I use Cathe's crosstraining and circuit workouts only when I'm cutting. Doing this allows me to shock my body when it really needs shocking.
The photos you see are purely from what I do at home, and mostly with Cathe. As I lift heavier, I'm actually pondering going to a gym as I know I'll get to a point when I'll need a spotter. But with the way things are at home, there's no way I can go a gym right now. I just use the concept of pre-exhaustion, as Cathe introduced in the PS series.
Thank your husband for me. That's very nice of him to use the "B-word".:7 My husband has been telling me the same thing for a long time, and it wasn't until I started playing with the digital camera (and the lighting
) that I saw what he sees. I started out really skinny, as you can see in that family photo taken in 2001. I actually have a photo of me in a tank top taken sometime in 2002, months before I started working out with Cathe's productions, and I looked anorexic there. I wanted to post it so you could see a before and after, but for the life of me, I couldn't find that photo. I'll put it up if and when I find it. Sorry this is long...
