Pilates...revisited

I read the recent post about suggested pilates workouts and bought the 10 min. solution but I think that I need a true beginner one. Suggestions? I was considering Windsor but know that for some people, that one is maddening.

Recommendations?

Thanks!

You might try Ellen Barrett's Crunch: Pick Your Spot Pilates. It has 4 10-minute workouts--1 for buns, 1 for abs, 1 for thighs, and 1 total body. It's sort of beginner/intermediate. She does it at a sort of intermediate level but has someone showing beginner modifications as well. I really like this one for standard floor Pilates and the 10 minute segments mean it's easy to choose how long I want the workout to be. You can see a clip of it on http://www.collagevideo.com

Also, Ana Caban has some good Pilates workouts that are available at places like Target or Barnes and Noble. Here's one of them: http://www.target.com/Pilates-Begin...2?ie=UTF8&node=578328&frombrowse=1&rh=&page=1

I generally like Ana's style and she does great no-nonsense Pilates workouts.

I'm one that doesn't like the Winsor workouts, but I have a good friend who just loves them, so it might be something you could preview on Collage and see what you think.
