RE: The Super Step

LAST EDITED ON Jun-04-01 AT 06:11PM (Est)[p]The "original step" that we have always used in our videos is now being made by Bollinger Industries. They recently purchased all the rights and patents that went with the step from the Step Company.

The step you see above is called the Super Step and will be a brand new product that Bollinger Industries is releasing very soon. Each riser is 4 inches and the step itself is 6 inches. This step has been designed to be used as a bench for weightlifting exercises. The Super Step comes with 4 risers making it stand 14 inches tall.

If you don't feel like purchasing a new piece of equipment, don't worry, the original step will work just fine for all of our new videos.

Wow, everyone looks terrific! And even the steps! Seeing all these pics makes me even more excited. It's going to be tortue to wait until August ;-) Now, I wonder how long it will take for me to break down and buy that one!

GREAT!

Just what I need~more temptation to buy ANOTHER step!! You guys need to quit doing this to us!! Between the new equipment and clothes, that won't leave us much money to buy more vids!!;-) Everyone looks incredible. Unfortunatley, Brenda's bis are covered. We need another angle to see them better! LOL! You all look wonderful and Jai, WELCOME to the group.

RE: GREAT!

I love this pic, you all look fabulous. I love that step. I want that step. I REALLY WANT THAT STEP!!!

RE: GREAT!

Love the picture, of course.
My first reaction was "what in the world are those??!!!" Then, "Wanna see the new step?" to BF, sitting near me. "I wonder how much that is," I said. His reaction:
"Yeah. Right."
They are "aerodynamic and shiny", according to Lee. They are waiting for me to buy one, according to me.!

Oh, boy.:-jumpy :-jumpy

RE: The Super Step

Hey Chris,
Is this Super Step ONLY designed to be used as a bench for weightlifting? Since it would be 10 inches with one set of risers under it, that would make it too high for stepping, but with no risers it might be too low for some people...
Thanks,
Wendy

RE: The Super Step

Hi Wendy! I'll but in here and answer this one ;-)! Yes, we were told that they are currently only designed to be used as weight benches. We used the original step for our Rhythmic Step video.

question about the risers

Do the risers have a solid top or are they hollow like the Original Step Co. step bench?

RE: ? about old step risers

No, the Super Step uses a diiferent type of riser that makes it safer to incline and decline the step.

RE: The Super Step

Fourteen inches tall....we could do STEP UPS on them, too!
Neat-o! :7

RE: Super Step

Oh no!!! I just ordered my first real Step, which hasn't even arrived yet, and now I find out there's yet ANOTHER one and I'm behind the curve again! OH well.:(

I guess I'm somewhat relieved to hear that the regular Steps work as well as these new ones, more or less.
