Physique Transformation? How do I use Cathe with it?

Hi! I am excited and starting conditioning today. I am not clear about what I am suposed to do about exercise. They are really specific about food, but I am not clear about exercise. Can I do Cathe weight training videos whenever I want? (Conditioning and fat burning phases?) I think I understand that you only do cardio when needed in the fat burning phase. Did i understand that you only do cardio 2 days a week? Thanks so much for your help!

Yes, you can do all the Cathe strength training you like. According to the program, you should hold off on all cardio until Fatburning. You only begin to add cardio when your weight loss slows down. I'm almost finished with Fatburning and am just now getting back to cardio.

If I understand it correctly, you start by adding one cardio a week (on your lowest calorie day) for 20 minutes at your THR. If you still aren't losing, then you add a second cardio, also on your low day. Next, you add cardio to your second lowest day, if necessary, then both low days. Eventually, you may work up to two, 20-minute sessions a day (I'm not sure how many days a week are suggested), but only if you aren't losing as you should. Hope this helps.

Shari's exactly right - do as much weight training as you'd like during conditioning and fat burning - 6 days a week if you want. This will build muscle which will natural increase your metabolism.

Cardio is added back in during fat burning - on your low calorie days, if you're not losing 1 to 2 pounds per week. You slowly add additional days only if you see your fat loss stalling. You might get the point where you are doing 2 cardios per day. I was doing 8 cardios per week by the end of fat burning and doing just fine. Some people end up needing more. Thankfully I wasn't one of them!
